- Build and manage Project / Program Core Team.
- Lead implementation Project / Program team through the entire Project / Program life cycle using Project management methodology.
- Responsible for problem resolutions in a timely manner and ensure Project / Program success.
- Refine and finalized Project / Program scope statement as the basis for future Project / Program decisions.
- Identify all activities necessary to achieve all Project / Program deliverables.
- P&L responsibility with Management of budget and financial planning for area of responsibility.
- Organize knowledge transfer during transition phase.
- For external Project / Programs, customer relationship responsibilities such as contract and contract change negotiation and management are included.
- Facilitate team and client meeting effectively.
- Ensure coordinated action between Amadeus internal organizations, external parties and customer implementation groups
- Build and validate detailed implementation Project / Program planning
- Consolidate and follow-up implementation Project / Program planning, resources, issues
- Define and follow-up on Project / implementation reporting.
- Monitor Project / Program and ensure the quality of deliverables
- Evaluate internal and external risks and propose mitigation actions
- Communicate and report on Project / Program resources, progress, risks and costs
- Escalate any issue impacting costs delivery timeline or scope
- Manage the change control (CR) process for implementation Project / Programs.
- Attend Customer Project / Program Status meeting and Project / Program Steering Committee.
- Relevant IT Degree & Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
- Minimum 20 years of IT experience with 10+ years in Project management
- Project Management certification which demonstrates that you have the experience, education and competency to successfully lead and direct Project / Programs (PMI’s Project Management Professional (PMP)®, Prince2 practitioner or any equivalent).
- Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
- Self-starter and independent worker
- Possess good interpersonal skills
- Experience in Aviation Industry or multi-culture/multi-country exposure would be an advantage
- Knowledge of any South Ease Asian languages or East Asian languages would be an advantage
