Within the Airlines Product eXpertise (APX) group of Solution Definition Managers, you will be afunctional and/or technical expertise entry point to manage complex and transversal solution analysis for Airline customers in APAC region.
  
The APX (Airline Product Expertise) APAC team is a group of transversal Solution Definition Managers localised in Singapore, part of the worldwide APX group. The overall group is composed of three teams located in Dallas, Nice and Singapore. We are working hand-in-hand with regional and central IT and business teams to lead the most complex transversal activities for the region (leading transversal solutions for airlines NH, JAL, QF, SQ, etc...) The Airlines Product eXpertise (APX) group is the entry point for Airline’s transversal services. We provide a functional and/or technical expertise and consolidate internal knowledge.
  
Our team leads end-to-end solutions, with a customer-focused mindset and fosters a strong collaborative approach. Projects come from presales engagements, airlines competency centers, professional services and internal strategic assessments. The team is also supporting customers in their operations, as well as Amadeus teams, when complex problems require transversal expertise. Anytime, APX team is bridging customers, Amadeus and even the industry together! As a Solution Definition Manager, you will be a functional and/or technical expertise entry point in all products of Airlines' portfolio, for complex and cross functional/division solutions analysis/recommendation.
  
What You'll Be Doing
  
Act as primary entry point in areas requiring cross functional expertise for transversal solution escalation points:
  • Analyze and capture solution elements for large cross functional CPs, and other complex cross-organization, cross-functional solutions.
  • Drive cross R&D teams assessments
  • Respond to the needs of the Central and/or Regional commercial organization in close collaboration with all Product Definition and Development teams of the division
  • Identify areas of repeat/common use and optimize the work of the department by documenting coherent, re-usable solution responses
  • Be accountable for providing information status to stakeholders on a regular and relevant basis at any stage of the engagement
  • Register and spot all the impacts on Amadeus Solutions and Products that are provided to clients and ensure that they are properly handled and solved by the accurate teams
  
​Provide support and expertise to Product, Sales and Account teams in functional, technical recommendation for new solution:
  • Contribute and support in the preparation of RFI/P responses and other ad hoc customer requests
  • Provide recommendation for new solution in collaboration with R&D teams and coordinate input
  • Analyze needs and requirements, from customer and internal sources, and propose functional/technical solution recommendations with supporting rationale
  • Document and present solution recommendations
  • Support new business opportunity study when it comes to complex solution
  • Suggest/propose ways to improve customer satisfaction
  
Develop, Maintain, and share solution analysis and expertise with the wider organization:
  • Define and execute the communication/training strategy within the team
  • Build and deliver Training material: tutorials, user guide, videos for internal team training
  • Define, develop and implement communication between commercial organization and R&D organization on complex solution or escalation
  • Design the tools which will support the process, taking into account User Experience principles
  • Track and Measure the performance of the overall functional/technical solution determination processes and propose and implement improvements
  Skills You'll Need
  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience (>8yr) in Product Definition (i.e. Product Development Analyst, Principal BA)) with a good understanding of main Technical Pre-Sales methodology and pre-requisites and several domains of Airlines products knowledge
  • Good knowledge of Amadeus: history, business, products, strategy, technology, organization and processes/methodology
  • Strong team player, collaborative mindset

  • Ability to express ideas and opinions clearly, both in oral and written format
  • Interested in, and eager to learn new technologies and methodologies

  • Additional specific (Account Management, Software Development, Operations Support) skills is a plus
  • Management or project management skills is a plus.
