What You'll Be Doing
Communication Strategy Development & Integrated Planning
- Contribute to a central branding-focused strategy sharpened by a deeply understood regional and market-level perspective. This will include the ability to understand and interpret briefs and the application of client and agency-derived insights to develop marketing and communications solutions.
- Knowledgeable and skilled in “full funnel” media strategy and execution: from upper funnel/branding through performance
- Identify and implement pan-regional or individual market media initiatives independently with the support of global colleagues
- Present clearly and persuasively with a clear point of view to clients, internal team and media partners
- Develop and Issue central planning and implementation guidelines
- Ensure regular reporting is delivered on time and accurately
- Work with team to ensure network compliance
- Work to resolve local market issues
- Ensure local and regional projects/campaigns are tracked and measured based on agreed KPIs and media efficiencies
- Initiate new processes to improve efficiency of market management Quality Control and Accountability
- Ensure local activities are in line with guidelines and objectives
- Review all plans and recommendations before they are presented to the clients
- Review all post buys before presenting to clients
- Specifically for digital, ensure optimization reports and post buys delivery are delivered on time and accurately.
- Instill regular WIPs (i.e. internal and external)
- Seek improvements on work process efficiencies
- Seek improvements on quality of documents delivery
- Develop and build relationships with clients; gaining clients’ confidence
- Develop and build relationships with internal specialist resources and group resources
- Develop strong working relationship with key agency and media partners Financial & Commercial contribution
- In conjunction with business lead and other colleagues, develop opportunities to generate incremental revenue via new projects and specialist services
- Identify opportunities in clients’ daily conversations and flag out opportunities to generate incremental revenue via new projects and specialist services
- Work in a small team towards pre-set KPIs.
- Assist any more junior team members in achieving their training/ knowledge goals
- University graduate
- 5 – 7 years of media planning/ digital experience
- Thrives in a fast pace, constantly changing environment, can adapt plans due to changes in client objectives, priorities or budgets while minimizing impact on project momentum
- Strong analytical skills, ability to relate results to client business objectives
- Balanced ability to perform analytically and creatively
- Well organized multi-tasker and able to work independently
- Good English and interpersonal communication, secondary language skills a plus
- Good team player
- Attention to detail and able to work under pressure
- Ability and willingness to participate in calls/meetings with global clients early or late during workdays
- Ability to work with numbers, and good analytical skills
- Comfortable working on Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
