The role of Senior Specialist / Specialist, Marketing Analytics (Retail Business) will be to apply advanced data analytics tools (statistical modelling, visualization, and marketing optimization) to design and execute customer engagement campaigns for FairPrice Group, analyse and provide insights on campaign effectiveness. Through customer segmentation and behavioral analysis, the candidate will also ensure that members only receive marketing content that is relevant to them and through their preferred medium.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Identifying customer segments and understanding their buying behavior, demographics, and life stage.
  • Effective identification of potential pockets of growth, new customer acquisition opportunities and develop specific strategies to chase these growth pockets.
  • Drive targeted campaigns by working with marketing and segments team to identify target groups to increase revenue per segment and penetration rate of product.
  • Understand customer lifetime value and channel marketing spend to the most appropriate group of customers to maximize return on investment.
  • Maximise returns on targeted campaigns through testing of various offers and communication mediums.
  • Be a data-driven storyteller! You don’t just stop at numbers and graphs but can translate numbers into actionable business insights and recommendations.
  • Implementation of self-service analytics to the other functional teams within the organization.
  • Drive transformational change within the organization toward customer-centricity and data-driven decision-making.
 
Key Competencies:
  • 4-5 years of experience as an Insights Analyst, Data Analyst or Data Scientist (e-commerce experience is a plus).
  • Excellent data analytics skills, independent thinking, data oriented, and knowledge of analytics tools required (SQL, Excel, Python, Data Visualisation tools).
  • Hands-on experience with large datasets on heavy transaction platforms. ( Experience working on GCP, AWS is a plus).
  • Experience working within data science teams, and product teams utilizing the latest software including capable experience with PYTHON would be an advantage.
  • Strong business acumen to grasp business requirements from stakeholder and analytical mindset to discover insights and build solutions from large data sets.
  • Ability to work effectively cross-functionally and to make data and insights accessible and easily digestible to a non-expert audience.
  • Preferably with working experience in commercial/operational decision-making.
  • Able to work independently and manage ambiguity.
