As an Associate / Director, you play a pivotal role in the success of PRecious Communications. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and strong leader with proven experience in managing client accounts, developing and executing integrated communications campaigns, and contributing to the overall growth of the agency.
Responsibilities
Account Management & Client Leadership
- Lead the development and execution of communications strategies for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring alignment with client business objectives.
- Serve as the primary client contact, building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with senior-level decision-makers.
- Provide strategic counsel to clients on their communications challenges and opportunities, identifying key messages and target audiences.
- Oversee all aspects of client projects and retainers, including budgeting, scheduling, and quality control.
- Ensure client satisfaction and proactively address any concerns or issues.
- Develop and present compelling proposals and presentations to win new business.
- Develop and implement comprehensive communication plans, including media relations, social media, influencer marketing, content marketing, and crisis communication strategies.
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis to identify key trends and opportunities in the communications landscape.
- Monitor media coverage and analyze campaign performance, providing regular reports and insights to clients.
- Proactively identify and respond to emerging issues and opportunities that may impact clients' reputations.
- Lead and mentor junior team members, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Contribute to the recruitment and onboarding of new talent.
- Conduct internal training sessions and knowledge sharing sessions.
Business Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing client accounts and through proactive market research.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key industry influencers and media contacts.
- Contribute to the development of new business proposals and presentations.
Qualifications
- 8-10+ years of experience in public relations, with a strong preference for agency experience.
- Proven experience in managing and growing client accounts, with a focus on both B2B and B2C sectors.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A passion for the public relations industry and a desire to stay abreast of industry trends.
- Experience with media monitoring and social media analytics tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
