Our client is seeking a Senior Executive - Intelligence to support the delivery of data-driven insights primarily within the B2B category. This role sits within the Research & Data Strategy team and supports marketing and business decision-making through robust analysis, insight development, and clear storytelling.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior team members to translate complex data into actionable insights, supporting research-led programmes, testing and optimisation initiatives, and the delivery of high-quality insight outputs. Responsibilites
- Analyse quantitative data (e.g. surveys, intent data, performance datasets) and qualitative data (e.g. interviews, open-ended responses) to identify patterns, tensions, and opportunities.
- Synthesize findings across multiple data sources into end-to-end insight reports with clear conclusions and implications.
- Apply statistical reasoning and advanced analytical techniques, including segmentation, propensity modelling, and correlation analysis, when required.
- Support questionnaire design, script testing, and validation, including routing, logic, and user experience.
- Manage fieldwork processes, ensuring data quality, quota management, and progress tracking.
- Conduct desk research and market scanning to uncover relevant secondary data, trends, and contextual inputs.
- Prepare charts, outputs, and narrative frameworks to support insight-led storytelling.
- Lead defined sections of insight and strategy presentations, clearly articulating implications and recommendations.
- Use Q for data setup, cleaning, and analysis.
- Use Excel where appropriate for exploratory analysis, modelling, and validation.
- Pull and interpret data from relevant audience and market insight tools to support B2B initiatives, including ABM, segmentation, and targeting.
- Support ongoing testing and optimisation initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement of insight delivery.
- Lead day-to-day client and stakeholder communications, providing clarity and direction throughout project delivery.
- Collaborate closely with strategy, activation, creative, and client leadership teams to translate insight into integrated solutions.
Experience & Skills
- Minimum 2+ years' experience in research, preferably within B2B.
- Strong experience with quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into clear conclusions and compelling stories.
- Experience using Q, Displayr, or SPSS.
- Experience across a range of research project types, such as brand, customer satisfaction and loyalty, segmentation, market assessment, concept testing, thought leadership, and ABM/ABX.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ambition to develop into a B2B research consultant with increasing client ownership and commercial responsibility.
