The Platform Performance and Insights team will be responsible for supporting the Platform team of FairPrice Online by generating actionable insights from data & enabling data-driven business decisions. 

The Platform team is responsible for Storefront Management, Content, Digital Merchandising & overall Platform growth across Web & App. The team depends heavily on data for driving various initiatives (examples include page effectiveness, impact assessment of key Platform initiatives, analysing drivers of conversion, performing deep-dives on critical problem areas etc.) 

Based on data from multiple sources, the Platform Performance and Insights team will manage the generation of insights that will help FPOn understand user Behaviour, platform performance, increase customer engagement and drive growth.


What You'll Be Doing

  • Understanding the various data sources (Clickstream/GA, Transactional data, Customer Data, CRM, A/B Testing and Product Analytics/Segmentation/Cohorts), working closely with the Analytics & Product team to determine the optimal way to extract and present data
  • Monitoring and reporting key platform performance metrics like Traffic, Conversion, GMV, DAU, MAU, Orders, AOV etc across various key dimensions. Enabling key business stakeholders with actionable insights & key opportunities from the same by analyzing key drivers for each metric, interpreting trends & proactively performing deep-dive analysis as required
  • Being the “data backbone” of the Onsite/Platform team - Spearhead all Digital Analytics efforts - analyze user behavior across Web/App, measure effectiveness of various properties (Banners, Swimlanes) and pages (HomePage, Category Pages etc) on the platform, including key platform features like Search, Sort, Filter and provide recommendations to optimize Page and Website/App performance
  • Collaborating with Platform Growth team & Product team and deriving the causal drivers of Onsite metrics like Clicks/Session, ATCs, Revenue per Impression (RPI), Conversion etc through a series of A/B Tests, Platform experiments and initiatives 
  • Support various teams like Content, Digital Merchandising, Platform Engagement & Product across various high-impact initiatives - drafting the right measurement framework, scoping & phasing of initiative through quantitative techniques, generating requisite metrics/dashboards/analysis to aid in impact & ROI measurement

Skills You'll Need

  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience in digital analytics/platform performance/business insights role
  • Quantitative discipline with strong business sense and ability to articulate complex analyses to a wide range of audiences, and translating these to actionable business insights
  • Strong expertise in Google Analytics, querying (SQL, Google BigQuery), reporting & dashboarding tools like DataStudio/Tableau. Exposure & expertise in Product Analytics platforms like MixPanel/Amplitude is a big plus
  • Efficient project and stakeholder management skills. Should have demonstrated the ability to work independently; partnering with mid-senior level executives and delivering commercial impact through data & actionable insights
