Manager, Corporate Communications
The position is responsible for the development and execution of comprehensive communication strategies that align with our corporate objectives.
This individual will support all aspects of corporate communications, including events, corporate social responsibility initiatives, social media, crisis communications, digital content, and reputation management. This role will play a pivotal role in internal and external communications initiatives, and oversee relevant agencies to contribute to the fostering of a culture of excellence and innovation.
• Develop and implement strategic communication plans to effectively convey the company’s messages including announcements and newsletters to various stakeholders, both internal and external, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and values
• Ensure that all public-facing content on all online and offline outlets consistently communicates the company's ambitions and values
• Engage with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure the push out of timely and accurate news and info (internal and external media)
• Create a corporate image that is progressive, innovative, expansionist, and sustainability-focused
• Manage public relations efforts and ensure a constant number of media placements
• Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy encompassing internal and external audiences
• Manage media relations, including press releases, media inquiries, and crisis communication
• Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts, industry influencers, and stakeholders
• Oversee internal communications, including employee newsletters, town halls, and social media channels
• Create and manage content for various communication channels.
• Monitor and analyze communication metrics to measure the effectiveness of strategies
• Utilise various AI tools and generative AI for copywriting, visual renditions, and video creation (eg. Chatgpt, Midsummer and Sora)
• Appoint and oversee relevant agency or community manager including facilitating posting schedules and establishing a Service Level Agreement (SLA) detailing response time expectations for addressing comments and queries on various channels
• Provide strategic guidance to the agency for overall communication goals and brand vision
• Work with agencies to develop press releases, social media content, and other communication materials
• Collaborate with relevant agencies and leverage their support in their media contacts to secure placements for press releases and facilitate media inquiries
 Ensure agencies provide support in developing and executing a crisis communication plan to mitigate reputational risks and support measurement of the effectiveness of communication campaigns and provide insights for future strategies
• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field
• Proven experience of a minimum 6 years in corporate communications, public relations, or related roles, with a track record of success in developing and executing communication strategies
• Extensive experience in media relations, crisis communications, social media management, and digital content creation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to craft clear and compelling messages
• Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects from execution to success
• Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a lean, entrepreneurial, and matrix environment
• Passion and tenacity for solving problems through creativity and resourcefulness
