In this role, you will grow all aspects of Paid Search activity across a range of mid-tier agency clients, providing insight, strategy and high-quality deliverables in tandem with the SEO personnel and wider agency team.

Measures of success -
In Three Months
· Understand client’s business goals and marketing objectives and understand the role SEM plays to drive their business forward.
· Great understanding of best practices and audit process to deliver best in class campaigns.
· Ad copy management – Reviewing ad copy performance and provide improvisations
In Six Months
· Continually building test and learn frameworks across all SEM campaigns, ensuring tests reach significance where possible and learnings / next steps are communicated to clients.
· Strong relationship with your team and senior stakeholders across the business
· Strong relationship with SEM reps across key partners
· Contributing to campaign performance to drive continued efficiencies across all campaigns
· Independently respond to all day-to-day queries
In 12 Months
· Contribution to evolving best practices through testing Alphas/Betas.
· Exceeding client KPIs across all campaigns and growing business revenue through increased billings where possible.
· Contribution to SEM strategies across new business pitches
· Assists in the development and documentation of best practices for improving operational efficiencies within the team and the group
Responsibilities:
· You'll lead, and own, the day-to-day supervision of client paid search programs including strategic approaches, bid recommendations, execution details, budgets/accounting and overall goal achievement
· Develop positive relationships with search community, vendors and Directors for optimal service levels and results
· Understand the client’s product, marketing objectives and digital goals with an emphasis on paid search, presenting to clients on regular basis
· Be a point-of-contact on a day-to-day communication with key clients
· This is a management role, so you'll perform with minimal supervision
· Monitor, track, and evaluate campaign performance analytics, based on client KPI targets and baselines.
· Stay on top of the latest updates regarding tools and User Interfaces (Google Ads, Bing, Bid Management Platforms, eMarketer, SEMrush etc.)
· Think creatively, do research, and develop tools and innovative tactics to improve efficiencies or advance the practice. Present practical ideas for future marketing expansion or optimization.
· Actively contribute to corporate initiatives, automation projects, process changes, and rollouts.
· Build, or assist in crafting, POVs, standard methodologies, and key process documentation
· Campaign Strategy definition and implementation, working closely with other internal departments to develop fully-integrated search campaigns
· Analyze performance data and site analytics to develop insights for use in weekly/bi-weekly reports and present to the clients.
· Creation and/or deployment of automation enhancements such as Google scripts or Excel scripts
· Stay current on industry trends, focusing on how changes can help improve offerings to accounts and enhance our overall practice.
Qualifications:
· You'll join us because you have gained a minimum of 4 years of paid search campaign management experience
· You'll have gained essential experience in Analytical Tools (Google Analytics, Web Trends, Omniture), Search Engine Desktop Tools (Google AdWords Editor, Bing Ads Editor).
· You'll be an emerging expert in Pay-Per-Click (PPC) optimization techniques (ROI / CPA / CPL / ROAs, Impression Share)
· Bid Management tools (DoubleClick Search) as well as 3rd Party Tracking Tools (DoubleClick, Floodlight, Sizmek, etc.)
· Certification within the last 12 months in Google Ads and Bing Ads
· Certification in SA360 and/or Google Analytics is a plus
· Experience meeting with and delighting clients is essential
· Working knowledge of Organic Search is a plus
· Working knowledge of Paid Social a plus
· Working knowledge of Google scrips and Excel scripting as well as reporting automation a plus
· Working knowledge of Google Data Studio, a plus
· Strong desire to manage and mentor junior members of a team; prior experience as a manager a plus
· Enjoy working in a dynamic and collaborative environment
· Excellent verbal and written skills; exceptional organizational skills, multi-tasking capabilities, and attention to detail
