The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) is a statutory board under the Ministry of Trade and Industry of Singapore. It champions the development of Singapore's tourism sector, one of the country's key service sectors and economic pillars, and undertakes the marketing and promotion of Singapore as a tourism destination.

What You'll Be Doing

In this role, you will drive Digital Transformation for STB with the goal of using digitalisation to improve STB’s work and business. Digital transformation can lead to outcomes that range from improving operational excellence using automation to meeting tourism targets using data and technology.

You will:
• Identify opportunities and painpoints for using new technologies and digital tools in STB.
• Define roadmaps and strategies to develop digitalisation capabilities and drive implementation outcomes in partnership with user teams and fellow TTG divisions.

To be a successful Digital Transformation Manager with a focus area on Digital Maturity, you will:

• Collaborate with TTG Group Head and Director-level Change Agents to to oversee the Digital Change Network (DCN) where you will work with ~ 20 Change Champions in Board to effect systems-related change management for (not limited to these) Cumulus, Batik (intranet system) and digital tools from GovTech.
• Develop the priorities and strategy for Digital Maturity and work with other TTG divisions to shape and drive digital transformation initiatives.
• Design a mechanism to monitor the various digital transformation initiatives and the impact to Digital Maturity Index (DMI). DMI is measured biannually.
• Set up a new Centre of Excellence focused on operational efficiency, which should comprise experts from the UX, data, automation disciplines. The CoE will both ‘hunt’ for opportunities as well as support STB units which are keen to drive productivity gains. The tasks of the CoE will include impact assessment, UX research, prototyping for testing and (if applicable) building the solution.
• Collaborate with Line Units (LUs) to create user guides and training materials as the Board adopts new technologies and digital capabilities. Be confident in managing change management (includes delivering demos and training on the digital tools) and presenting project milestones and updates at Board and Management level.
• Have a curious mind, learn and build your brand as the expert in the digital tools.
