Join SoftwareOne’s dynamic sales team, working closely with Account Managers, Solution Specialists, and cross-functional departments to deliver innovative solutions for our customers. You’ll play a key role in supporting sales, implementation, and customer enablement.
As a Software & Cloud Consultant (Microsoft), you will determine the strategic and operational scope of new business opportunities, acting as both a business analyst and a trusted advisor. You will collaborate with sales and implementation teams to understand customer needs and craft tailored solution strategies that drive business value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Account Managers, Solution Specialists, and cross-functional teams to identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Support the RFP process and enablement activities with the sales organization.
- Drive upsell and cross-sell initiatives within named accounts.
- Oversee service adoption, utilization, and operational quality for Microsoft cloud solutions.
- Participate in targeted campaigns, customer calls, and presentations as an expert resource.
- Develop and execute account plans for high-potential customers to maximize opportunities and gross profit.
- Resolve escalations by working with customers, account teams, and internal support teams.
- Support customer setup, onboarding, and enablement for Account Managers on products, licensing, and services.
What we need to see from you
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of Microsoft cloud products and services.
- Ability to perform administrative tasks to support sales teams and drive customer engagement.
- Experience leveraging customer intelligence and data to build relationships and inform solution strategies.
- Proficiency in financial forecasting and using insights to inform business decisions.
- Familiarity with process and system management, following best practices and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Knowledge of value-based selling and sales methodologies, tailoring solutions to customer needs.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Collaborative, proactive, and results-oriented approach.
