The Application Support Engineer provide technical support for application related issues and supports the investigation involving key technologies and application domains.

Position Overview
This resource to support National Neuroscience Institute Electronic Queue Management System (EQMS) and National Skin Centre EQMS and backup support for TTSH Queue systems KTLO (Keep the Lights On)

Role & Responsibilities
The Application Support Engineer provide technical support for application related issues and supports the investigation involving key technologies and application domains.

The candidate is responsible in complex problems requiring technology skillset or domain / workflow related experiences.
  • Maintain service operations documentation and guides. Develop supporting documentation for all Service Operation activities.
  • Assist in implementation for standardization across technologies / domains of application
  • Assist in documentation of key application workflows
  • Assist in training
  • Assist in investigation of complex user reported issues
  • Develop mitigating and/or preventive solutions
  • Vendor Management and User Management
 
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other highly technical, scientific discipline
  • 2-3 yrs of Application Support / Desktop support experience on multi technology platforms
  • No experience is welcome, on-job training is provided
  • ITIL v3/v4 certification and strong service-oriented experience / background preferred.
  • Strong Knowledge and understanding of IT industry environment and business needs.
  • Proven experience supporting Web / Client based applications
  • Knowledge on EUC desktop configuration will be beneficial
  • Able to be on standby 24/7 if needed
