Role Summary and Impact 

We are currently looking for a Manager, Performance to join us. You will be responsible the entire end to end of campaign management process to support WPP Media agencies and clients.

The WPP Media Social team is responsible for best-in-class activation across Social platforms and to help achieve campaign KPls. They are also supporting the delivery of tasks such as reporting output, offer insights and recommendations across strategic planning and agency pitches.

In this role, you will be responsible to manage the biddable operations across social platforms and be the single point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for achieving campaign deliveries, troubleshooting campaign issues, providing key insights for social activations under your purview

Measures of success -
In three months:
  • Become knowledgeable of the client's business, ways of working, key client teams and internal teams, and the brand objectives for 20-21
  • Seamlessly running operations on Social biddable platforms such as like Facebook, Twitter, Tiktok and Linkedln
  • Understand client processes & liaise with the Planning and Campaign Delivery team to help plot optimization steps and opportunities
  • Clear understanding of reporting requirements and ensure timely reporting to agency teams for taking effective decisions
  • Regularly attend weekly/monthly calls with internal teams & clients providing status and updates on live local market plans, highlight issues or best practices, next steps/recommendations, if any.
  • Engage regularly with Search and Ad Ops team to get learnings and build cross platform strategies
In six months:
  • Establish ways of working with planning team and become the go to person for social platform related queries
  • Be on top of campaigns that are currently live in markets and share industry best practices or suggestions to improve the performance further
  • Connect with the platform teams on a weekly/monthly basis from Facebook, Twitter, etc. to discuss campaign performance & issues, learn about new alphas/betas, align test and learn plans to achieve best-in-class results for the brand
  • Continually building test and learn frameworks across all platforms, ensuring tests reach significance where learnings / next steps can be communicated to clients.
  • Regularly liase with the internal planning and performance team to share positive results or recommend new properties as part of the learning and scale up plan for other markets
  • Gain trust and confidence of all relevant stakeholders - global and local client teams and in markets teams
 
In 12 months:
  • Guiding planning teams on the campaign output, prepare and present media recommendations for ongoing client communication plans to senior global clients for approval/ feedback
  • Exceeding client KPls across all campaigns and help to grow business by suggesting new ideas and services to the biddable/market leads
 
Responsibilities of the role:
  • Day to day business management - Work across all aspects of the biddable business for client, campaign operations, regular analysis of live campaigns, raise any alarms in case of any issues, recommending new products
  • Biddable Excellence - Ensuring gold class delivery on campaign while following the excellence frameworks and best practices followed by the brand
  • Network Management - Learning how to work with multiple markets and cultures and developing a good relationship with agency and client teams across the region and globe.
  • Planning Input
    • Understand the client's objectives and recommend appropriate biddable plan basis the brief
    • Lead biddable operations and effectively manage & optimize campaigns budgets, targeting, bid strategies, etc. to achieve the KPI
    • Analyze Competitor's activity & keep a lookout for industry/category trends to recommend the right course of action
    • Contribution to the campaign strategies from a biddable perspective
    • Weekly/Monthly calls with internal client team on campaign performance and align on any recommendations
  • Reporting - Timely reporting for all biddable platforms like Facebook, Google, Twitter, Campaign Manager, Analytics, etc. to the market teams and the client to take the right decisions.
  • Team Development - Share regular updates on new products or positive campaign results with larger team so that other markets can also adopt the learnings 
 
What you will need:
  • 3 - 5 years of operational experience across biddable social platforms such as Facebook and lnstagram, LinkedIn
  • Experience on platforms such as TikTok Ads, Twitter and Snapchat is good to have
  • Facebook Blueprint Certifications is good to have
  • Up-to-date knowledge of best-in-class practices in digital marketing
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail around data, insights and actions
  • Excellent communication skills and teamwork
  • Proficient in excel and PowerPoint
